Sunflowers, sunsets, and fireside champagne toasts by the lake... Jessie and Evan's romantic sunset engagement session in Melrose, FL gives me all the warm and cozy vibes! Not to mention how sexy these two are! I love a couple who wants to go beyond the "traditional" engagement shoot and chooses to plan a mini adventure or excursion to enjoy together. They get to create their own story; one full of fun memories that's forever preserved in time. It's the perfect way to relax and celebrate before tying the knot!
When it came time to take Shelby and Neal’s engagement photos, their only request was to incorporate cows. As an animal lover myself, I was totally down for the idea! Off we went to spend the day at their friend’s farm in Williston, Florida, where I took their engagement photographs surrounded by the cutest cows and chickens - and a gorgeous last-minute sunset!
James and Samantha decided to do a themed engagement session at Elizabeth Park in West Hartford, Connecticut before their 2020 autumn wedding. The photographs from this "picnic in the park" turned out to be magical! (I honestly don't know if I've ever seen two people so head-over-heels in love with one another.) I picked up some flowers, wine, and candles, and set up a beautiful spread for them to enjoy during their session. James serenaded Samantha with his guitar (and stole my heart), and their precious Labrador made a special appearance! It was a wonderful evening, in every way.
