What better way to celebrate an anniversary than by having family portraits taken while creating family memories to look back on?! Thankfully, great minds think alike! This colorful, playful family portrait session was gifted to the Meda family as a surprise anniversary present.
This was my second time photographing the Collins family for their annual Christmas card. With everything going on in the world, we decided to have a simply, playful portrait shoot in the backyard of their beautiful new home in Simsbury, Connecticut... and it did NOT disappoint!
Just a few month after photographing Megan and Erik’s elopement at Talcott Mountain, we got together once again to photograph the most recent addition to their family: a beautiful black lab named Fjord! Of course, I love photographing all sorts of family sessions, but I can confidently say that my absolute favorite ones have at least one dog in them. (Extra points if you have more than one fur baby!)
I LOVE maternity sessions. They are always so cute and special. But this session with Erin was nothing short of a miracle. Erin and Jeff were trying to have a baby through IVF for several years before they FINALLY got it right. And by “right” I mean “double right” - because they're expecting twins!
Ladies (and gentlemen): prepare yourselves. Jacob went surfing. This hottie took to the waves at a beach off the cliffs of San Diego, CA during an epic sunset.
Sean and TJ may quite possibly be the cutest, most adorably-in-love couple I've ever photographed. During their couples portrait session in San Diego, they took a stroll down Windansea Beach holding hands and sneaking kisses, while a gorgeous sunset covered the skies and Pacific ocean in shades of rose & gold. (It was pretty magical.)
